Exiting the Church
At the end of service wait for your section to be dismissed and maintain a safe distance between the person in front of you. Take a look at the picture above to get an idea which door you will be using depending on the section you are sitting in. Just follow the arrows to identify the proper door exit.
Welcome…
In the midst of this strange and uncertain time brought about by the Coronavirus, it is comforting to know that our God is still on the throne and working all things together for good. Psa 115:3 says, “Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.” What is happening in our world may not be comfortable or convenient for us but first and foremost it is something that can be used to bring glory and honor to God. This is an opportunity for the church to shine and be the light of the world that Christ calls his followers to be. This is an opportunity for us demonstrate our faith in God’s sovereignty, to show compassion to those who are hurting, to intercede for those on the front lines, and to share the message of hope with those do not know Christ as Savior and Lord. My desire during these difficult times is that Woodlawn Baptist Church and all true churches around the globe that are declining numerically and spiritually would be revived by God.
If you are looking for a church home, we would love to have you come and visit us. As pastor of Woodlawn, I am committed to rightly dividing the word of truth so that God’s flock might truly be fed and their souls nourished. We are a small church but there are many here with large and generous hearts. We would love to get to know you and your family and be a blessing to you.
We are hoping that on May 17th we will once again be allowed to physically gather in our church building but until that time you can find us by searching Facebook for “Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville” and then following our public page. We are streaming our Sunday services live at 10:30 am and going through the Gospel of Mark. We are also currently streaming a live Bible study on Wednesday nights at 6:30 and going through the Book of James.
I pray that God will use the circumstances in our world to draw you closer to Himself and also guide you to a church where you can grow and mature in your faith and be used for God’s glory.
